Disney-Pixar's UP Movie Post

REVIEW:

UP is simply a wonderful, simple adventure story about love and friendship. Pretty much every story element in Up is motivated through some form of love—romantic, unrequited, undeserved, rapacious, hero worship, egotistical, parental—yet the movie still culminates in exciting chase scenes and aerial battles.

UP starts off as young Carl Fredrickson watches a film about famous explorer Charles Muntz. Muntz was accused of fraud and vowed to never return back from Venezuela until he brings back the “snipe” in the flesh. Young Carl then meets another fan of Muntz, Ellie. She then tells Fredrickson about her dream to live on top of Paradise Falls in South America.

They never lived the life of adventure they expected, but they lived a life of happiness that would satisfy anyone. After events best watched without pre-description, Carl decides that if there’s nothing else he can give Ellie, he is going to give her a home at Paradise Falls—and he puts his plans to use by using balloons to fly their house down to Venezuela.

The 10th feature film Pixar has developed, this movie made me laugh and cry. If you happen to cry at movies, prepare to bring some tissues. This film may not be the most best feature Disney-Pixar has created compared to Ratatouille and Toy Story, but it is still a great and wonderful film to enjoy. I happened to watch both formats on the film and let me tell you that the 3D experience made this film feel like I was actually on the adventure. This movie represents everything that has been great and wonderful about Pixar over the last 15 years. This film was directed by Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.) and Bob Peterson (directorial debut but he is a long-time Pixar contributor as animator and writer).

“Whether if you’re eight years old or 78, the inspiring and hilarious adventure is sure to touch hearts and have audiences cracking, well, up.” Quote D23.

Hannah Montana The Movie MEGAPOST

REVIEW:

Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) has always had “the best of both worlds.” When her alter-ego Hannah Montana got into a shoe fight, came to Lilly’s sixteenth birthday party as Hannah late, and didn’t say goodbye to her brother before he left for college, her dad Robby Ray Stewart (Billy Ray Cyrus) took Miley back home to Crowley Corners, Tennessee to show Miley where she came from.

Back in Tennessee, Miley struggles to fit in on the farm. Miley also finds a love interest in her old childhood friend, Travis Brody (Lucas Till). A news reporter names Oswald (Peter Gunn) over heard that Hannah Montana had a secret, so he followed her to Tennessee. As Miley spends time on Crowley Corners, she realizes how much she loved it there. Does Miley still want to be Hannah, or just be Miley?

I honestly loved this movie. You may underestimate this film because it’s Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana, but it is a wonderful film. The movie’s soundtrack went along with the story so perfectly. The director, Peter Chelsom, did a wonderful job with this film. I even felt some tears rolling down my cheeks on some moments. When Miley performed The Climb during the film, it was such a powerful scene. “Always be looking forward and know where you want to go but, most importantly, never forget where you come from. That's what this story is about,” says Billy Ray Cyrus.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience

Today, February 27, 2009, was a WHAKED OUT DAY!
The Glowing Circus, Jonas Movie, AHH.

so right after school, i got dropped off at the movies.
it was like, 3:10. so then i sat down at the bench inside the movies, and just waited.

i was bubbling a ScanTron sheet from the TKAM test, and right after i finished the front side, it was like, 4:00.
there was already a line leading up to me. hahaha.

so then the Usher told us to line up inside, cause we couldnt go in cause it was too early.

so we waited against the wall.
i started talking to the two girls next to me, and then we finally got to go in.

these stupid girls were trying to cut us. haha.
and then i like, ran to the top corner, best spot in the house.

and i just waited for Rebecca and Allison to come.

when they were like, giving a sneak peek of the Hannah Montana Movie, girls were yelling BOO!
i was like, SHUT UP! I LOVE HER!
and then my new friends and i laughed.

the movie started. yay!
and becky and allison still hasnt showed up.
they showed up when the concert started, so they missed the opening. ]:

during the whole movie, it bought back memories to JULY 12!
[the Burning Up Concert i attended with Khanh and Gracielle.]

it was so cool. the 3D made the Experience so much better.
with the audience screaming and clapping and singing along, it felt like i was reliving the night over again.

at the end, we were like, ARE THE JONAS BROTHERS HERE?!
they werent. ]:
hahaha. so then after, Rebecca, Allison, and I went to take pictures with the billboard.

so many people took pictures with it.

i LOVED the movie so much.
and im not gonna say that it was 'the best movie EVER', cause Melanie will tease me. ]:

other than that, 5 OUT OF 5.

at first, i thought it was gonna be like, ughh. but i liked it. i wanna go again!
hahaha, anyone up for it?!
